Transient Sites

• One camper plus one 8'x8' tent allowed per site
• Register additional guests at the office.
• Two cars per site, check at the office for additional parking.
• Please refrain from using air conditioners.

Guests

• Our families have grown to enjoy a comfortable and safe environment.
• All visitors must be guests of a registered camper and must register at the office.
• There is no charge if you are a guest of a seasonal camper unless we have to ask you to register.
• All unregistered guests will be charged $5.00 per person.

Speed Limit

• The speed limit was established to provide maximum protection for those in the park, especially children on or near the road.
• The speed limit in the park is 5 MPH.
• Speeding in the park will not be tolerated from campers, guests, or staff.
• If you do see someone speeding, please get as much information as possible about the vehicle and/or driver License plate number, color, make of vehicle, etc.) and bring it to the office. We will take care of the problem to the best of our ability.

Pools

• Blue Haven pools are for the use of its campers and their guests only.
• Pool hours are 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (later if weather permits and swimmers are present).
• The North side pool is open to everyone. However, children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
• The South side pool is considered our quiet pool and only open to those 18 years and older, children are only allowed in the pool if they are accompanied by an adult.
• We request that everyone using the pool respect and follow directions and guidelines provided by the lifeguards, they are there for your protection.
• No harsh language or behavior will be tolerated.
• No normal clothing such as cotton, Jean, wool, etc. are allowed in the pool. Materials such as these clog filters.
• No food, glass, toys, diving, and pets are allowed in the pool area.
• No smoking inside the pool area.
• The pools are closed when either there is no lifeguard on duty, the Closed sign is up, and/or the gates are locked.

Clotheslines

• Clotheslines cannot be left up permanently.
• The laundry mat is available during store hours and has washers and dryers.

Rubbish

• Rubbish areas are located off Hillside and on Meadow just past the South side pool.
• Recycling receptacles are located at the rubbish area and near the pay phone.
• Help keep the campground clean - do not leave rubbish on the side of the road.

Golf Carts

• Only electric golf carts are allowed in the campground and must obey the speed limit.
• Only people 16 years of age and older can drive the carts.
• Carts are not to be loaded over the capacity of the specific cart
• Golf carts must be registered at the office.
• Electric scooters are not allowed in the campground.

Vehicles

• All registered vehicles require a valid drivers license and all other vehicles require operator to 16 years or older.
• All motorcycles, ATV’’s, and Dirt bikes, etc. Should ridden directly to and from your site and entrance.
• Motorized scooters are only allowed for transpiration for medical reasons.
• Bicycle’s riders must wear helmet.

Fishing

• No fishing on car bridges.
• Fishing requires a New State fishing license. The office staff can help with details.

Pets

• WE ARE ANIMAL LOVERS, very fond of pets and appreciate the fact that people recognize their pets to be an integral part of their family. However, we are also aware that many people are not animal lovers. Additionally, our insurance carrier has required establishment of safeguards to prevent any unfortunate incident from occurring at Gunboat Rock Campsite, Inc. DBA Blue Haven Campground. In light of this we have established, and strictly enforce the following policies:
  
  
• NO PETS ARE ALLOWED, except under the following conditions for registered and seasonal campers:
  
  
• Pets must be kept quiet, confined, tethered, cleaned up after & leashed at all times, when on your site and when walking the ground. Leashes must be no longer than 6 feet and walkers must be of sufficient stature or size to maintain positive control of the leash at all times. Pets must not be allowed to annoy others in any manner, or be left unattended. It is recommended that children not walk dogs. Pets are NOT allowed in the following areas:
  
  
  • - Bath House
  • - Playground
  • - Pools
  • - Clubhouse
  • - Camp Store
  • - Bath and Shower House
  • - North Gazebo
  • - Game Room
  • - Certain special events at ball fields
  • - Putting and Chipping Green
  
  
  
• Absolutely NO AGGRESSIVE PETS, or any that have previously bitten, or attacked people or another pet, are permitted at Blue Haven. Additionally, breeds of dogs which by nature, history, or perception aggressive, such as Pit Bulls, Rottweiler's, and Doberman Pincers, we ask the owners to please be extra cautious with these breeds. These breeds are known to have an aggressive reputation and this will ensure the comfort and safety of fellow campers.
  
  
• Upon entering the campground a copy of a current rabies vaccination certificate must be submitted and filed with the office and the following affirmed:
